About High Level

High Level is a town located in northern Alberta, approximately 733 kilometers (eight hours) from Edmonton, Alberta. It is situated at the intersection of Highway 35 and Highway 58, which provides access north to the North West Territories and south to Grande Prairie and south east to Edmonton.

According to the 2017 municipal census, the population of High Level is recorded at 3,992 residents. High Level is the highest populated town in Mackenzie County, which has a recorded population of 11,171 residents based on the 2016 Canadian census.
